Google Labs, Art.Ificial, and Spark are inviting you to a first of its kind USC’s Creative Makeathon from October 18-19 ⭐️

It’ll be a 48 hour creative grind at the Google Office & Iovine and Young Academy (@usciovineyoung) featuring workshops, guest speakers, and collaborative working spaces 💪

But WTH is Google Labs? 🧪 

Google Labs (https://labs.google/) is a division within Google that experiments with applications for Google’s latest technology in creative ways, and they’re interested in exploring the intersection of AI and art. 🤖

USC ETC Pitch Challenge

The Challenge
Develop an innovative Transmedia Experience that blends new, original storytelling techniques with multiple media forms, using cutting-edge tools and resources.

Deliverables
Create a prototype, visualization, or vertical slice of one of the following next-generation consumer engagement experiences: (i) Personal XR Experience; (ii) Small Group XR Experience; (iii) In-Vehicle Experience; or (iv) Location Based Entertainment Experience.

Tools
Unreal Engine must be used for developing your experience; supplemented by complementary immersive hardware and software, such as (i) Motion Capture; (ii) Head Mount Display (HMD); and/or (iii) Haptic Technologies.
